Hi Everyone! – My partner’s amazing novels have just been published on Kindle – If you like Sookie Stackhouse, Bella or Anne Rice – You’ll love these. They are about Iona Adair, a Scottish Parapsychologist with psychic powers; they are funny, romantic and dark exploring some really fascinating ideas. You also find out about the more interesting Scottish folklore creatures like Kelpies. I would really appreciate it if could spare a moment to check out Polly’s work. You can see them on Amazon here. Or view her website at pollyletson.com. Thank you so much, Brie (Wibit)
I often get asked why I called my blog Roman Sock – and if my name is Roman or Sock and luckily neither is the case.
I am Brigitte Read, author of Super Super Cute Crochet and general crochet enthusiast based in Edinburgh in Scotland.
It's called Roman Sock because a Roman sock is the very oldest piece of crochet in existence and I have to declare a bit of a passion for the Romans.
I am constantly inspired by nature and just how amazingly cute and wonderful all living creatures are. I love trying crocheting new and exotic animals so if you have any ideas please contact me at [email protected]
If you are interested in learning about my Brushed Crochet Technique you can find more information here.
If you want to know more about designing Amigurumi, I have put together a guide detailing my process from initial concept to where to sell and how to photograph your finished article. Find out more at the Roman Sock Shop.
