My life has got a little bit intense lately... Work has really taken off which is good.... but it means I have so much less time for my unofficial second job crochet and this blog, and boy do I miss it!
Crochet is such a fantastic stress reliever but sometimes I just feel the pressure to try to make new stuff and its a bit overwhelming - I end up feeling nothing I make is good enough and it really just puts me in a bit of a funk. If I haven't gotten back to you - It's not because I don't want to! it's just time and feeling a bit down.
So I thought I would take a bit of pressure off myself and show you some Scotland pictures - I took them on my hipstamatic app on the iPhone!
This is a little inlet near the sea on the west coast - you can see an island in the distance!
This picture gives you a bit of an insight on the changing Scottish weather! Cloudy one moment and then blue sky the next!
This is a a little croft with a rainbow breaking the dark clouds. Perfect dramatic Scottish weather!
Ahhhh the joys of rain and cloud.
I understand compleatly ,we all as artist go threw bumps in the road. I just wanted to say I really look up to you and wish I could have a blog as awsome as yours one day.
:)

Good luck with work and finding the time to crochet - it sure can be difficult some days.

I sooo love these critters but I keep crocheting, unraveling, crocheting and unraveling. :( My best friend gave me your Super-Super Cute Crochet book as a gift but I'm a newb so I have a difficult time figuring out if I'm reading the directions correctly. It just doesn't turn out like the pictures. :( ha ha. I love them though, and I keep trying. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity!

I hope everything is okay up in the chilly north - I've heard that you Scots have even had some snow already! Keep warm and hopefully the crochet inspiration will return soon :-)

I love the differences in language - croft vs. farm. That's an incredibly romantic country. I'd love to visit my old family there someday.

Nothing like feeling you "should" do something to suck the fun right out of it. It's been so long since I worked on my blog, I actually have forgotten the URL.

Lovely rainbow photo - the car window? curve makes it look as though you took it from outer space, with the curve of the atmosphere showing.
