That is the cutest, funniest purse ever. Brilliant!

Thank you SO much for making this pattern available. I can't wait to attempt making one & to use it !

Angie

How fun. And, how kind of you to share your pattern...thanks so much.

Suzanne, the Farmer's Wife

Thanks for the pattern. I'm running out to get some yarn today. Are you sure about the size 4 needles? That's a very, very small needle to use with chunky weight yarn. That's only about 3.5mm.

Suzanne, the Farmer's Wife

....I mean size 4 hook.

Brigitte

I mean a 4mm hook! ;-) I didnt know there was other sizing! The yarn I used was a light chunky yarn more Aran weight.

Laurel

sweet! can't wait to make this one. in fact, knitting group tonight, maybe I need to stop in at LYS on my way...

paola

Another free pattern - fantastic! I've just finished writing up a blog post about some of your other free patterns which I thought you might like to know about - http://www.loopyjess.co.uk/2010/06/designer-focus-brigitte-read.html

Magses

Thank you so much for another adorable free pattern.

Thank you!! This is so awesome! Chickens make me smile and my daughter is dotty about chickens. (We have 27 here on the farm.)

This is going to be a big hit with my daughter!

Laura

This is so cute and absolutely made my day! Thank you so much for the pattern - I'm probably going to end up in mass production for Christmas!

Laurel

already finished! can't wait to make the matching coin purse, too.
posted my pics on Ravelry.

noricum

Awesome!

Martha in Kansas (US)

Cool! Just found this post. I love chickens. It's Friday with a weekend rapidly approaching. I have plenty of chicken-colored yarn. You can see where this is going! Thanks so much!!

Thank you so much for this pattern. Making it for my niece, but I think my gauge is way off. What are the finished dimensions of your chicken? Thanks!!

Jean

CUTE CUTE pattern. Thanks so much!

Debbie Gallett

Love the clutch. Now lets see if I can do it. You still need to get the real chickens. Nothing is more relaxing than watching chickens. They are proven blood pressure reducers.

Retro Jordans

I really like your blog, I feel we have a common love from your blog. Hope you make friends with me, and give more exchanges later.

Megan

This one is so great! I love it.
I have a simple quick question: your pattern says to crochet into the "arm" of the stitch. Which part do you mean as the "arm"?
Thanks!

wholesaledunk

a fish or not ?

Nike Vandal

If you'll make a guy delighted, tend not to add to his possessions but subtract from his needs. Did you concur with me?

Meaghan

You are the most amazing person. That is sooooooo funny. Thanks so much for sharing!

P.S. Am thinking about crocheting an egg for the button. :P

jessica
