Hi everyone, Thank you so much for your appreciation over the years. Just to let you know I have relaunched the Roman Sock Shop and you can now find it at romansock.com.
I have been trying to figure out how to crochet a squirrel for years! There are some very cute ones out there but none that really had the realistic look that I wanted - Then a couple of nights ago I woke up at 3 in the morning with the solution!
So here is the little guy!
The idea is that he can be on all fours or sitting up in a squirrelly position
I wanted to get the feel of the squirrel right from all angles
this wee squirrel seems to have an inquisitive nature
and did I mention he loves ceramic apples?
Thank you all so much for your kind words! I feel like I am going to get my groove back!
He's amazing! A very inquisitive squirrel. That's obviously why he appeared at 3am! :-)

Oh, Brigitte! Absolutely perfect, and utterly realistic. Love, love, love the pic of the little guy with his tail in the air, peering around. Fantastic!

Had to show my husband your post starting :"I have been trying to figure out how to crochet a squirrel for years"! See I'm not the only one who comes out with sentences like that! He is absolutely adorable (I'm talking about the squirrel but husband not bad either), you should feel really proud!
