I bought this stunning egg yolk yellow yarn about a year ago - after falling head over heals for it on ebay, and have been waiting for the right project (while stroking it a lot in the meantime)
I finally committed to a project, and now is actually finished!
I think it looks a little Edwardian..
I am just obsessed with the color!
Is it wrong to love alpaca this much?
I made this using a French Square but there are tonnes of fantastic patterns here for squares http://www.mypicot.com/ in fact it is an amazing site!
It's an adorable scarf! Great color too!

It looks gorgeous! I am also a big fan of alpaca - so soft, so tactile, so yummy!

Beautiful simply beautiful. Egg yolk never looked so yummy. And the words wrong & alpaca don't even belong in the same sentence.

I didn't see that square on mypicot. Do you remember which one you used?

This really is beautiful. The pattern is so elegant and detailed. I too looked on the linked site and couldn't find the pattern. In fact, I kinda had trouble navigating around...but then it could be me :( I'd love to get the pattern and make an afghan. Thanks for sharing.

Oh yes it's a beautiful scarf ! I've already seen that square used on "Crochet and the city" (it was funny to participate this summer), and I think I'm gonna do something too with it. And really, loving Alpaca is so… natural ! (I apologize again for my appproximate english)
