Well we are all moved in! What a relief. The move was quite horrific, everybody that promised to help ended up bailing at the last moment. Leaving us pretty much stranded, but thank goodness we got help in the end. I am using a mobile internet connection so it is a bit slow, but working.
The new house is fantastic! and beyond everything else, I wake up every morning to birds singing, and there is more green than I could have even imagined. For those of you that don't know,I used to live in the centre of Edinburgh, which was beautiful, but all I could see from the windows were more buildings, and I barely saw a blade of grass each day. The flat was adorable but so dark and closed in, I felt like my spirit was slowly dieing.
Now this is the view from my living room:
and I saw this first thing this morning!
I love the proportions - I am a symmetry junkie!
and to make it even more beautiful, my lovely mother sent these
so here I am, really happy for the first time in ages.
I wanted to say thank you so much for all the Etsy orders! I had no idea that people would actually want to buy some of the little things I make. I am just totally overwhelmed, it is just the most amazing thing to know that my little creatures might be brining people a little happiness all across the world! I am just astounded.
Thank you all so much for the support and the crafty love, I really do feel now that maybe there could just possibly be a creative future out there for me somewhere. I am a super chuffed bunny!
Have an amazing Easter!
If you dont have a future in the creative business, I dont know who should! *hugs*
Your new place looks amazing! So much light, and the friendly colours. So much space and everything looks so new. A new start is always good! I hope you will like it there. :-)
A very good Easter to you!

Wow, look at all that green and the cute squirrel! I like the molding or is that part of the lamp on the ceiling? Enjoy your new house, it looks fabulous!

Glad to hear you're all moved in, despite challenges. The house looks beautiful! And of course people are buying things from you, because you make beautiful stuff. :-)

OMG. I just found your website through Ravelry. I heart your projects! I just finished the body of an owlet and will finish tomorrow (it's 1am here) when I can get to the store and buy eyes. I also have almost every thing to make the tree frog. AH. LOVE. Mad, passionate love. :P Thanks for sharing your super cute, easy patterns. And to think, I'm a knitter. I hardly know my head from crochet even though my grandma taught me when I was little. Thanks again!
