Omigosh! This is fabulous! I'm such a big fan of yours you have NO IDEA! I'm fixing to my myself a few Meerkats, if you're interested I'll let you know how they turn out. :-) Keep it up!

Rabbit

These are so cute. Thank you for sharing and for the pattern. I can't wait to try one.

val

once again, you have done a great job. i alway look forward to login onto your site. They sure are adorable. i must find some yarn and try to make one for my menagerie. thanks for the pattern.

brit

It is terribly juvenile and I'm ashamed of you and of me, for immediately forwarding it to my husband.

Jacqui

Thank you for sharing this fabulous pattern. You are a very talented designer!

aimee

It may be juvenile, but at least the little guy on top really looks like he's into it.

By the way, my little dog (as opposed to the big dog who must ride in back) often insists on riding in my lap while I'm driving. She even tries to stand up with her paws on the steering wheel to get a better look. I keep telling her this is a big safety hazard and that she'd better just lay on my lap. We're working on one of those doggie car seats but they're a bit expensive.

Jann

You are so awesome!! Your turtle pics made me giggle!!

Bunny

Oh! I love those turtles!

Tawny

Thank you for the hearty giggle today! I apologize in advance if my comments post twice again. I am still trying to decipher why my blog posts need to replicate themselves (just like your turtles!)

Lynn

LOL--thanks for the good laugh. But seriously, the turtles are precious. Thank you for the pattern. I know what you mean---missing the grass and trees. Where we lived before we moved here had lots of grass, trees and birds. And then we moved here--which is just the opposite. Last summer I put lots of flowers in containers and bird feeders on my patio to try to draw in a few birds. But unfortunately I only drew in other unwanted creatures. I was sitting outside at dusk one night and saw something run across the walk way. I got my flashlight to find little mice eating out of the bird feeder. Do not get me wrong, mice are cute as long as they are not running around me.

These are so great! I don't know why I didn't think of it first. Granny squares are perfect for a tortoise shell. What fun! Thanks for the pattern, I saved it for future projects.

Oh My, the tortoises went wild in there ;) LOL

Lisa

I think those turtles are fantastic. And the Pom - outta this world! Almost like you!!! That's why I gave you a "You Made my Day" Award. You have to read my Blog today to see what it's all about!

Mearaid

Thank you for the biggest laugh I had all day!

Crafty Gardener

I love the tortoise pattern and will be making it for my grandson. Thanks for sharing.

LOL! I'm a new crocheter, and I'm gonna try those turtles... do you think if I can make two, they'll multiply and I'll wind up with a whole brood of them? Is brood the right word? Is it a flock of turtles? Regardless, my sister is going to love them! THANKS!

E

The turtle lives 'twixt plated decks
Which practically conceal its sex
I think it clever of the turtle
In such a fix to be so fertile.

Ogden Nash

Too cute!

I just found your blog, and I have a funny story: On my honeymoon in Athens last fall, my husband and I were wandering the Acropolis, and there WERE Greek tortoises at the Acropolis just going at it. With tourists taking picutres of it to boot! Hehe.

Lil_Birdie

Oh my gosh they are so cute :)

Jill

These are adorable! I just had my first crochet lesson today and hope to one day make these for my daughter. Thanks for sharing the pattern.

susan

adorable, and you are a very naughty girl!!!

Eva

These are adorable! Even though my baby is a Russian Tortoise and not Greek, this really looks like her :)
