bunny and bunny cub

I am so pleased with these! In fact they have inspired a dangerous feeling of pride which is probably totally unfounded. I bought the wool in the John Lewis sale and had no idea what I wanted to do with it then one bored afternoon thought rabbit! I designed them freehanded and was astounded as to how they came out, more luck than talent I am afraid.

I collect miniature steiff's  http://www.steiffusa.com/ and some how these put me in mind of them.I think its something to do with the soft fluffiness over the harder body.  I am going to write up the pattern and stick it on here, I would be so interested to see different variation.

I have added a tutorial now it is in the side bar.

These guys are so cute. BTW baby bunnies are called kits. :)

Thank you Bethany!!! I have a tendency to call everything cub....even my dog. I love your blog very cool. Its so hard normally to find any decent patterns at all!

Omg, these are the cutest bunnies ever! Can't wait to make one, thank you so much for sharing the pattern.

Thanks Shirley, just really glad there will be more of these little'uns about!
